Description
Arthritis affects more than 50 million Americans, including 300,000 children. They are warriors. They face relentless pain, a frustrating search for a diagnosis, multiple doctor’s visits and treatment, missed work and school, limited mobility, a maze of medical and insurance paperwork, and the desire to live a full life without the limitations that arthritis can create. So run or walk with me and take a stand against arthritis.

The WHY
I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis nearly three years ago. Since then I've been on Remicade infusions, Methotrexate, and Humira. These medications have serious side effects but since i've been put on them, I've regained the ability to walk and run just as a normal person would be able to. I started this walk as a senior project but just have been truly motivated by anyone I speak to about it. I didn't want all my hard work to be for nothing. Which it's not! Arthritis is a disease that affects everyone, whether you have it or someone in your family has it. Help by walking or running for the cause!
T-Shirts
T-shirts are available for $10! These are not required for the race. The deadline for the shirts is 3/3/2018. Also, the lettering is NOT blue but will be a purple.
