KHAKY Share Your Spare 5K

The Share Your Spare event is a celebration of Living Donor Super Heroes as well as an awareness and fundraising event to support living donor and transplant candidate support programs at KHAKY.  It will be held on Saturday, September 10, at Coldstream Park. Registration will begin at 8AM and the run will start at 9AM. Walkers welcome. A Kid’s Fun Run (1 mile) will start soon after the runners. 

Any person receiving dialysis treatments can register for $5 as a guest of a Registered runner for a total of $30 (both will receive shirts and be eligible for door prizes). All Living Donors in attendance will receive special recognition.  All 5k participants will register at the $25 rate with an option to run/walk "as a pair" for $40.  Kids (12 and under) can register for the Fun Run for $15 per child. Runners bringing children in strollers do not have to register the child. Only children participating in the Fun Run or 5k are required to register.

The race event helps provide KHAKY's mission to serve kidney disease patients and their families, increase awareness and early detection of chronic kidney disease, provide a network for collaboration among renal healthcare providers, and promote organ donation.  Sign up to run or donate to help support families across the state of Kentucky!
