The mission of the Pilot is to transform communities by developing youth, providing service and education and uplifting families. Our focus is to provide projects and services which help those with special needs and brain related disorders.

Our event will kick off at 8 am with the 1 mile walk/run followed by the 5K.

Shirt Guarantee

The deadline to register is Sunday, November 5, 2023 by midnight to receive a shirt.  Any registration after this time, an event shirt will not be guaranteed.

 
Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup will be available at Covington & Associates, 1110 S. Range Ave. on Friday, Nov. 10th from 3-6 pm.

Also on race morning at the race from 6:30 - 7:30 am.

 
Awards

Awards will be given 3 deep in all age groups with an Overall Male and Female, Masters (50-59) and Grand Masters (60 & over) Male and Female

Fun Run Awards will be given to top 3 runners age 12 & under

The age groups are as follows for 5K - 
14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49

Proceeds

Proceeds from this event will be used to fund projects such as Livingston Activity Center parties, Project Graduation, Fans and Heaters for the Elderly through Council on Aging, Assess the Need, Veterans at local Nursing Homes, PAE Labs and Life Skills Apartments for special needs students in Livingston Parish, Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge and many, many more services for our community. Since 2013, we have sponsored the Challenger Recreation Program in Walker through donations of uniforms and equipment as well as the seed money for the new Challenger Baseball Field.  In February 2014 we had our inaugural Traumatic Brain Injury weekend for adults with traumatic brain injuries.

As you can see, the Pilots are always looking for ways to help others and our community. Your support goes to help continue these most worthy projects.
