2021 Team Parker Virtual 5K+

This is the second annual Team Parker virtual 5k that will benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital.  Participants can complete the 5K plus as a run, walk, or bike ride anywhere or any time from October 1-Nov. 1.  This virtual race is for fun and for charity.  Participants can log their own mileage and choose from completing a 5K or challenge themselves to complete as many miles as possible in the month of October.  All participants will receive a Team Parker t-shirt after the event is completed. (T-shirt size is guaranteed for those who register before Oct. 8.)  Ask others to join in and challenge each other.

It's simple.  Register, complete the event during the allocated time, and report results with data from a smart device or with a picture of participants.  Most of all, have fun.  Join as an individual or join as a team.  This year we are adding the option to fundraise.  There is an option to set a fundraising goal, set up a personal link to ask for donations, and then ask family and friends for donations to help you meet your goal.  The individual or team who raises the most money will win a gift card to be announced later.

The Team Parker event is being held in honor of Parker Rivera, a remarkable young man, who started his battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma on his 14th birthday.  St. Jude's Children's hospital played an important role in his life.  Throughout his treatment, he never complained or gave up.  After he was called into Heaven in 2015, we vowed to keep his memory alive by raising money for St. Jude's Children's Hospital .

We want to help the kids and families of St. Jude.  We have vowed to do this until a cure is found.

The participant takes full liability for actions before, during, and after the race.  Refunds will not be given for any reason.
