"Sprint for Spring" 5k and Fun Run

This year for Ya Momma's Dish and Dash, we are hosting a 5k and Cook Off. Every one of us has a mother or mother figure that holds a special place in our hearts. This year, we will honor the life of Spring Guidry, a mother and beloved community member, that recently went on to be with our Lord. Join us as we run to celebrate the enduring love and cherished memories of Spring and so many other mothers that hold that place in our hearts. While their physical presence is deeply missed, their spirit of warmth, strength, and unwavering love continues to bloom in with in us. This year a portion of the proceeds will be donated in Spring's memory to the The Ochsner Neuroscience Institute.

The "Sprint for Spring" 5k and Fun Run will start with a warm-up at the Larose Park Pavilion and the race starting at the Larose Civic Center parking lot. The defined paths will take you through neighborhoods around the event and end at Larose Park Pavilion, the epicenter of the event. From there, you will be able to enjoy the food and fun with the rest of the gang that will already be cooking.

Included in the entry fee for either run, is an event shirt and access to the cook off event.
