6th Annual Beau Chêne Country Club Turkey Trot Classic 1 mile Fun Run/Walk and 5K Run/Walk

Description:

We are excited to announce the 6th Annual Beau Chêne Country Club Turkey Trot Classic 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk!  Our race will be held on the morning of Wednesday, November 27th and registration fees include a post-race party (located behind the club house next to our beautiful Pavilion) complete with food, drinks, music and entertainment for the entire family.  Our food will include an assortment of fresh fruits and Jambalaya. 

Drinks will be provided by Beau Chene Country Club (water, tea and lemonade), Republic National Distributing Company (adult refreshments), Nola Brewery(more adult refreshments) and Abita Roasting (coffee). 

Activities for the kids will be available.  We have also partnered with the Northshore Food Bank of Covington to include a food drive that will benefit local residents in need.  Everyone who brings 5 cans of food will be entered into a raffle to win some great Beau Chêne prizes! 

Our 5K race course winds through the scenic live oak lined streets of the beautiful Beau Chêne subdivision.  The 1 mile course includes both street running and cross country running on Beau Chêne Country Club’s Oak Golf Course. (Race Course Map is below)

Refund Policy/Virtual Event Possibility:

Should weather prevent us from hosting an on-site race, this race will convert to a virtual race. In this instance, no refunds will be given and updated race information will be sent to the registrants.  We reserve the right to cancel in extreme weather circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation.  With you registering for this event, you agree to these terms.  We appreciate your support!

Registration Fees (Early & Late Fees & dates): 

1 Mile Fun Run = $20 through November 10th, $25 through November 26th and $35 on Race Day

5 K Run = $30 through November 10th, $35 through November 26th and $45 on Race Day.

T-Shirts are guaranteed if registration is completed by November 1st.

Packet Pickup (Location, Date & Time): 

Early Packet Pickup Available on November 26th b/w 3:00 and 5:00 pm at the Beau Chêne Clubhouse.  Race Day Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration b/w 7:30 and 8:30 am.

Age Groups: 

1 Mile Run = 6 and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13 

5 K Run = 7 and under, 8-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, etc. and 70+

Awards:  

1 Mile Run = Awards will be given to the Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers male and female (13 and under) and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female 6 and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13 year olds 

5 K Run = 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Overall Male and Female and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female age group winners (7 and under, 8-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, etc. and 70 +)

There will be no refunds if the event is cancelled due to inclement weather.
