King's Camp 5K & Fun Run

King's Camp is both a summer camp and retreat facility throughout the year in scenic Mer Rouge, Louisiana. 

Our annual 5k is a fun community event in which people can gather in fellowship and enjoy our beautiful grounds, all while supporting our ability to provide camp scholarships. The event serves as our main fundraiser for our scholarship fund, and all net proceeds will be towards this end, granting opportunities to campers who would otherwise not have the financial means to attend a summer camp. The beauty of King's Camp is that we are a ecumenical camp with campers from all walks of life and denominations.

The day includes a fun run for children 10 and under as well as the chip timed 5k run.  There will be prizes, a food truck, and art on display. It should be a joy-filled day for all ages.

We welcome those who have known King's Camp throughout the years and those who would be interested to learn more about this wonderful campground.  The mission of King's Camp is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and provide a retreat center for our community to enjoy the goodness of the Lord. 

Key registration dates:

• 5K Regular registration rates until October 14th for a free t-shirt
• We will accommodate late registration, but t-shirts might not be available 
• Fun Run for Children ages 10 and under (free)

All those who register by October 14th are guaranteed a race t-shirt, late registrants will receive t-shirts as supplies last.
