Phillip's Cottage 5k

All proceeds to benefit Phillip’s Cottage, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that will provide transitional housing to women and their children who are graduating from the Louisiana Adult & Teen Challenge program. Funds will be used to renovate a 3,000 sq ft house that will become a safe haven for these women who have worked hard to reclaim their lives and be the best Mothers they can be for their children.

Date & Time:  Saturday, April 12, 2025.

Race will begin and end at Phillip’s Cottage located at 217 W. Union St. Minden, LA.

5k will start at 8:15 am.

Fun Run will start at 8:00 am.

Registration Fees:

5k - $25 registration fee (t-shirt included) until March 15, 2025

$30 March 16th - April 11th

$35 Race Day 

Fun Run - $15

No shirt can be guaranteed if register after March 15.

Sleep-in Supporters: If you’d like to support this cause and receive a t-shirt without having to break a sweat, you can register as a sleep-in supporter for $30 by March 15, 2025. Your t-shirt will be shipped to the address provided.

Packet & T-shirt Pick-up: You may pick up your racing packet and/or t-shirt at Phillip’s Cottage Thursday, April 10 from 10-1 pm

Friday, April 11 from 4-6 pm

Race day starting at 7:00 am. 

Awards: A cash prize will be given to 1st place overall male & female runners in the 5k.

1st & 2nd place 5k runners in each age group will receive a trophy.

Age Groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Special Note: Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace capacity only. Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on the run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!
