Kick off the holiday season with one of the most festive runs in New Orleans! The Crescent City Classic's Christmas in Lafreniere Park Run/Walk returns Saturday, December 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM for an evening of holiday lights, family fun, and plenty of Christmas cheer.

Run, walk, or stroll the 2-mile course through Lafreniere Park as it comes alive with more than 10 million sparkling LED lights for the annual Christmas in the Park Lights Display. Take in larger-than-life holiday displays, the famous 60-foot Sea Serpent glowing over the lagoon, and plenty of NOLA favorites along the way.

Whether you’re racing for the finish, walking with the kids, or gathering your krewe for a night under the lights, this event is the perfect way to celebrate the season.
