Red Kettle Run

The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary annual Red Kettle Run is an event to support the philanthropic and humanitarian efforts. These efforts include, but it not limited to the needs of the Merkle Center of Hope Shelter, the Boys & Girls Club, Angel Tree participants, holiday meals assistance, and emergency programs/services. Join us for an exciting event and help us in supporting an active local non-profit in our community.

Course Description: Fun Run, 5K, & 10K & Walk – held at LSUS | Run or Walk

Entry Fees:                                          

• $ 25 Early Bird Registration till October 3rd 
  

• $ 30 Regular Registration October 4th to October 31st 
  

• $ 35 Late/At the Door Registration Nov. 1st 
  

**If you do not want another race shirt, choose No Shirt and save $5.00 on your registration.

Race Packet: Make sure you register before midnight October 22nd to guarantee you get your size race shirt.

Sleep-In Supporter: $ 25 Donation to the Organization

If you cannot be there but would like to show your support. (You will still receive a T-Shirt)

Military, First-Responders, and Ainsley’s Angels Racers  will be able to register for $25 (Dates do not Apply).

You may register at Sportspectrum or online at www.sportspectrumusa.com or on Race Day starting at 6:30 a.m. at the race site.

Race packets can be picked up at Sportspectrum on Thursday, October 30th from noon-6:00 p.m.,

Friday, October 31st, 10 am – 5:30 pm

Race Day from 6:30 am to 7:15 am at the race site.

Awards:

Overall 10K Male & Female Winners will receive $200 Cash,

Overall 5K Male & Female Winners will receive $100 Cash,

1st and 2nd place Male and Female winners for 10K and 5K will receive medals in the following age groups: 8-under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.

***This year we are having a school challenge. The school with the most participants will receive a special award. So if you are of school age make sure you answer the school challenge question.

Fun Run: Participation Medals will be provided.
