Description
Come join us for our FIRST Annual St. Jude 5K, Sock Out Cancer!!! This event will be held on Saturday,
April 19 th at Lumiere Park in Stonewall, Louisiana. Let’s get our craziest socks out for the run, and sock
out cancer together!
This event is for all ages with a Kids Fun Run and a 5K that you can run or walk.
100% of proceeds from this race supports our local St. Jude Affiliate Clinic in Shreveport. This clinic is a
joint effort between St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Ochsner LSU Health-Fiest-Weiler Cancer
Center. This St. Jude affiliate clinic brings expert care for children and adolescents with cancer and blood
disorders in Louisiana. The funds will be used for patient and patient family needs which include
sponsoring patient Birthdays, No Mo Chemo Parties, meals, snacks, toys for the clinic, gas cards, hotel
expenses, etc. Please help us support our local pediatric oncology families!!
THIS IS THE SECOND RACE IN THE SPRING 'POWERED BY LOCALS' SERIES.
No Strollers, skates or animals will be allowed on the course. Thank you for your understanding.

Sign up and RUN the 5K races in the spring's series (there are 3) and after the third race you RUN
you will get a NEW BALANCE Jacket!
