Matt Clark Memorial 5K Run/Walk

This is our 4th year to remember Matt Clark with a 5K run/walk on Saturday, November 9th, 2024.  Matt was an anointed leader in our church and it is our desire to continue to remember him and his Godly ministry.  Starting @ 7:00 am, race packets and registration will be in church parking lot. You may register the morning of race with cash or check for $30, but T-Shirts are not guaranteed to be available.  Beginning @ 8 am there will be a children's 1 mile Fun Run, for children's ages up to 9 yrs old with 1st, 2nd & 3rd place medals for boy and girl runners.  Then @ 8:30 am, The Matt Clark Memorial 5K race will begin at the south end of  River of Life Church driveway on Ellis Lane. The runners will run or walk down Ellis Lane turning at end of road looping around marker and head back to the front of church parking lot to the finish line.  The race will be timed by McDuffie Timing. The course offers a flat and fast paced challenge for all runners, walkers.  There will be mile markers to guide you for your distance and volunteers handing out water bottles and words of encouragement.  Medals will be given out to 1st Overall Male & Female runner. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place medals will be rewarded for male & female participants in 5 year increments.   Refreshments and fruit will be available during and after race.  Your race entry will include a race T-shirt (while supplies last) for online registration of $30. and will close @ midnight  on November 8, 2024
