*PARATRIATHLETES: Please contact us if you register for this category. We want to ensure the racer has a complete understanding of the course, as well as, ensure the race staff has a complete understanding of any special circumstances for the racer.

  • Top 3 Overall: Male, Female & Non-Binary
  • Top 3 Clydesdale & Athena Age 39 & Under
  • Top 3 Clydesdale Age 40-59 & 60+
  • Top 3 Athena Age 40-54 & 55+
  • Top 3 Bike-Run: Male, Female & Non-Binary
  • Top 3 Aquabike: Male, Female & Non-Binary
  • Top 3 2-Person Relay Teams

  • 1st Overall Masters (40-49): Male & Female
  • 1st Overall Grand Masters (50+): Male & Female

*Clydesdale and Athena athletes will remain eligible for both Clydesdale and Athena specific awards as well as their respective age group awards.

 
AGE GROUPS

Sprint Distance
13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89

Olympic Distance
Same as above starting at 15-19

 

The 2023 race will also be host to the USA Triathlon Kentucky State Championship for clubs and individual racers in both Olympic and sprint distances. The top three clubs will be recognized. For individuals, the top 35% or top five (5) finishers in an age group (whichever is greater) will qualify. Racers may only qualify for Olympic-distance Nationals by placing in the Olympic distance State Championship race or Sprint Nationals by placing in the sprint distance State Championship race.
High School State Championships Exemption: All high school athletes who finish any of the State High School Championships will automatically qualify for Sprint-distance (pending they are at least age 15 as of December 31, 2023.) USAT will notify athletes of qualification.
