Heroes Live Forever Memorial Road Race (Run-Walk-Ruck)

EVENT INFO ••• Join Firefighters, EMS professionals and surrounding departments in the inaugural Heroes Live Forever Memorial Run-Walk-Ruck 5k road race, in Memory of Templeton EMT Tracy Ferrazza. 

Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome to participate, Firefighters, Police, EMS professionals and competitive runners alike will love our fast and flat course. Children, and strollers are also welcome. This Memorial road race is a time to honor Templeton EMT Tracy Ferrazza who served the Templeton community for 11 years. Tracy also worked as personal care assistant and life coach with Mitchell Borque of Templeton as well as multiple children for ABA Services in Fitchburg. Together we Remember her kindness, selflessness and loving nature.

DISTANCE: 5k

REGISTRATION OPENS AT 8:30AM

RACE STARTS AT: 9:30AM

LOCATION: Start and finish will be at Wachusett Brewing Company. 175 State Rd E. Westminister MA 01473

T-SHIRTS: Shirts are guaranteed to the first 50 registered participants / prior to September 1, 2024

*Kids entries do not include a free event shirt.

WATER STOP: Water stops will be available along the route.

We do NOT guarantee a course monitor will be present at every turn. 

PARKING: Free Race Parking will be available to all runners/walkers at Wachusett Brewing Company. 175 State Rd E. Westminister MA 01473

There will be NO bag check. Please leave personal belongings in your car. If you are picking up your race packet on RACE DAY, please allow enough time to bring your SWAG bag to your car prior to the race. 

WALKERS: Walkers/strollers and pets are welcome to the race, but we ask you to please start at the back of the field to mitigate congestion on-course.

SHIRTS & MEDALS: First 50 runners who preregister are guaranteed a t-shirt (Kids entries do not include an event t-shirt) First 200 participants to cross the finish line are guaranteed race medal.

​POST-RACE: Water and snacks will be provided at the finish line. 

REFUNDS: *All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is a rain or shine event, provided the weather does not present a hazard for our runners, volunteers and partners. 

Donations of services and products to the event are welcomed as long as they are individual sealed and wrapped. 

This event is proudly hosted by Give2Those a 501 (c)(3) charity, dedicated to serving the needs of our Nations Heroes and their families. ​All proceeds from this event benefit Give2Those and scholarship assistance in memory of Templeton EMT Tracy Ferrazza, for students who wish to fulfill their dreams of becoming a EMT, Firefighter, Police Officer or Special Needs teacher.
