You're invited to the Austin Reardon Memorial 5K Walk/Run (AR5k) – a joyful and meaningful event that brings the community together to honor the life and legacy of Austin Reardon, a proud graduate of Norwood High’s Class of 2019.
This annual race isn't just about miles – it’s about making a difference. Proceeds go to the Austin Reardon Foundation, which awards scholarships to graduating Norwood High seniors who reflect Austin’s generous heart and vibrant spirit.
The race kicks off and finishes at the Knights of Columbus on Nichols Street, winding through a scenic residential route close to the high school. Whether you're running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, there's something for everyone — music, delicious food, raffles, and community vibes that Austin would have loved.
Run for Austin. Walk for Austin. Celebrate Austin.

Event Information
Both runners and walkers are welcome!
Early Bird Registration opens June 1 – August 31 for $30 — the same price as Austin’s hockey number.
Starting September 1, registration will be $40, just like in 2025.
🕒 Race Day Registration: 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM
🏆 Awards: $250 cash prize for the first place female and first place male finishers.
After the race, stick around for food, drinks, music, raffle baskets and plenty of fun — the perfect way to celebrate a great run (or walk)! 🎉
Course Map
The road race route will start at the K of C, go up Nichols and take a left onto Willett Parkway, go around Westover Parkway onto Devon, Albemarle, Essesx to Croydon, and then back to the K of C on Nichols Street (map is below). We will have police detail both on Nichols Street at the intersection of Willett Street and at the entrance of the K of C.
