2022 Burgess Bear 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run

Join us for the 5th annual Burgess Bear 5k Run/Walk. The event will start and finish at Burgess Elementary School in Sturbridge, MA. All proceeds will benefit the Student Activity Fund for grade 6 extracurricular educational experiences. We hope to see you and your family there!

Race information:
Time & Pricing: Kids Fun Run at 9:00 a.m.; 5k Run/Walk at 9:30 a.m.
Kids Fun Run (ages 12 and under): $5.00. All Kids Fun Run Participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Pricing is dependent on age group, in person or virtual selection. 
Same day 5k registration = $25 
T-shirts: Register by September 9,2022 to receive a free race (5K ONLY) t-shirt.
Parking: Limited parking at the school. Overflow parking will be provided.

Parking is at Burgess (45 Burgess School Rd.). Blue outlined spaces you will be able to come and go during the event. Red outlined spaces you will not be able to leave from until the last 5k finisher comes in. See Map below!

Awards:  - 1st Overall Male/Female
                - 1st Burgess Staff and 1st Burgess Student
                - Award for the 5th Overall in honor of our 5th year.
                - Age group awards to 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & up.
