Get ready to explore the Inner Harbor Promenade like never before with this historic clue-based scavenger hunt along the waterfront path, FestQuest!
FestQuest is perfect for families, friends, and curious adventurers of all ages. You'll solve clues and race from checkpoint to checkpoint along Baltimore’s waterfront promenade. Then, enjoy the final day of the 59th Annual Fell's Point Fun Festival weekend and celebrate your accomplishments.
Come for the challenge, stay for the celebration!
Why? The Fell's Point Fun Fest was born out of a desire to preserve Baltimore’s unique waterfront and historic charm. Today, the Inner Harbor Promenade is a direct legacy of that effort. FestQuest invites participants to interact with that history firsthand, encouraging exploration, appreciation, and connection.
How does it work?
- Register for one of three category options based on interest and distance. (Team or solo options available!)
- At packet pickup, collect your race bib w/ playing card, clue sheet and promenade map.
- Each clue will lead to a specific checkpoint along the Inner Harbor Promenade Pathway.
- Rolling start window between 8:15 AM and 9 AM. Just cross the timing mat to start your time.
- Solve the provided clues to discover your checkpoints.
- At each check point, use the hole punch to mark the designated portion of your race bib.
- Once all of the clues have been solved, cross the same timing mat to end your time.
Awards for top finishers in each category as well as spirit awards to event superstars.
Results will be ranked by fastest chip time in each category + accurately completed playing card.
After the event, collect your fun giveaways and enjoy the Fell's Point Fun Festival on Thames St.
Admission to the festival is free and open to all!

Each year, the Fell's Point Fun Festival is produced by the nonprofit, The Society for the Preservation of Federal Hill & Fell's Point.
Proceeds from FestQuest directly benefit this non-profit organization.
