Southern Delaware Women’s Multisport 2023 Kickoff & Swim Clinic

The Southern Delaware Women’s Multisport Club is pleased to announce its 2nd Annual Swim Clinic and Members Meeting on Sunday, March 25, 2023 5:15 to 8:15 PM at Ocean Pines Core Sports Pool, 11144 Cathell Rd, Ocean Pines, MD 21811. The Clinic will begin at 5:15 PM followed by a Club Member season kickoff meeting, open swim and pizza party to follow. 

The SDWMC Swim Clinic is appropriate for all levels of experience and will focus on the long axis strokes; primarily freestyle with limited focus on backstroke as time permits. Our main objective will be to improve your overall efficiency and speed both in the pool and open water.  By participating, you will learn and practice techniques and drills focused on:
�- Increasing propulsion and connectivity with the water�- Getting comfortable with being out of your Comfort Zone�- Swimming faster with less energy expenditure�- Having FUN in the process

You’ll be working with French Creek Racing Coach Mack Henderson. Mack has 25+ years teaching and coaching youth and adult swimmers of all abilities and is an experienced triathlete. 

For all participants, we recommend bringing any swim equipment you own.  If you don't own a pair of swim fins and a pull buoy, we highly suggest procuring these items prior to the March 25th clinic.  The pool has a limited number of pull bouys and fins available. 

After the clinic we’ll have an opportunity to meet some of our sponsors, enjoy pizza, meet club members and raffle off some prizes.
