3rd Annual 5K Race for Every Breast Cancer Survivor (Walk/Run)

Join us on Sunday, October 8, 2023, for our 3rd Annual 5K Race for Every Breast Cancer Survivor, where you may participate in-person or virtual, walk or run. Please join us for this family-friendly event and help fund breast cancer research and free breast cancer survivor and caregiver support programs. Start a team of friends and/or colleagues, join one of our existing teams, or run as an individual. Then come celebrate your accomplishment with us at the post-race party with our friends at BabyCat Brewery, which will be immediately following the race in Kensington, MD. We hope to see you there!

Company/Corporate teams are welcome and encouraged. Past years' company/corporate teams have used this event as a way to show support for the breast cancer survivors in their community, as well as for morale and team-building. It's also a great way to build relationships in a fun, collegial activity with breast surgeons, others with an interest in helping breast cancer patients, family, and friends. There's no cost to start a team, and the American Society of Breast Surgeons Foundation will promote your goodwill to our U.S.-based and international audiences. 

The 3rd Annual 5K Race for Every Breast Cancer Survivor is being organized by the American Society of Breast Surgeons and American Society of Breast Surgeons Foundation, a charitable 501c3 organization. Funds from registration fees and donations to the race will provide funding for free breast cancer survivor support programs, as well as fund breast cancer research and community outreach grants.
