Here is how it works:

1. Register online for the ASICS Susquehanna River Running Festival presented by University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health.
2. Receive a unique referral link via your confirmation page and email.
3. Share this link with your friends, family or post on social media.
4. After 5 registrants sign up using your unique referral link you will automatically receive a refund of your registration fee.

BIB MAILING OPTION:

If you are participating in the in-person race and can not make it to packet pickup, or if you simply prefer having the convenience, you may choose to have your race bib and shirt mailed to you. The fee for the bib mailing service is $38.00 per registrant. The bib mailing option will close on August 26th at 11:59 pm. Virtual participants can pick-up at any of the above pick-up sessions or will have their race packet mailed to them automatically at no additional charge. If you sign up for the virtual race after August 26th and select the bib mailing option, your packet will be mailed post race.

Please note: If you select the bib mailing option you cannot defer your entry to the following year after the bib mailing cutoff date of August 26th.

BEER BRACELET:

Each registrant (21 years of age and older) receives one complimentary beer at the post-race party. We also offer a beer bracelet as an add-on during registration which entitles the wearer to bottomless beverages at the post-race party. The bracelet costs $28.50. Please do not select this option if under 21 years of age. Bracelets are non-transferable, and Charm City Run reserves the right to deny service to anyone who appears intoxicated or cannot produce photo ID when requested.

*Courses are subject to change and may not be USATF Certified.

Note: Half Marathon and 10K have a course limit that corresponds to a 14:00/mile pace.

AWARDS:

Awards will be given for the in-person Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K as follows:

Top three overall males and females (based on gun time)
Top male and female masters (based on gun time)
Top three nonbinary finishers (based on gun time)
Top three males and females in the following age groups (based on chip time): 14 and under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80 and over.

There is NO double dipping! Awards will be presented at the post-race party, so be sure to check your results on RunSignup and stick around if you’ve earned an award! There are no awards given for the virtual races.

VIRTUAL RACES:

We are excited to offer a virtual race option for the half marathon, 10K, and 5K for the 2025 Susquehanna River Running Festival. Haven’t participated in a virtual race before? No problem! It’s easier (and more fun) than you might think! Register by selecting the virtual option in registration.

Run Your Race
Normally we toe the starting line at 8:00 AM on Saturday, but with the virtual event you’ve got the whole weekend to run! You can run your race anytime between Saturday, September 20th and Sunday, September 21st. You can run anywhere you like - your neighborhood, your favorite trail, your treadmill, etc. We encourage all participants to use the RaceJoy app, where you can track your run, automatically submit your results, send and receive cheers to/from other participants!

Submit Results
After you run your race you can submit your results automatically through the RaceJoy app, through text or email (if opted in), or directly on the runsignup.com results page from September 20th through September 21st (11:59PM Eastern Time). If you have questions about submitting results don't hesitate to reach out to us at events@charmcityrun.com. Results automatically update as times are submitted, so you can check the results to see how you stack up against the competition.

BENEFICIARY:

The primary beneficiary of the ASICS Susquehanna River Running Festival presented by University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health is The Albert Cesky Scholarship Fund (ACSF). ACSF is an all volunteer, 501(c)3 organization established in 1985 and based in Harford County, MD. Each year, ACSF awards scholarships to Harford County high school seniors who excel in both athletics and academics, and who best demonstrate the values reflected in the life of Al Cesky. ASICS Susquehanna River Running Festival presented by University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health also benefits several nonprofits in the Havre de Grace and Perryville communities.
