Georgetown Prep Cross-Country Classic
Dear Coach--You are hereby invited to the 47th annual Prep Classic.
Date: Saturday, Sept. 25th, 2021
Location: Georgetown Prep, North Bethesda, Maryland.
Course: 5K on the Prep Campus. More than 90% of the course is grass; spikes are
recommended.
Sanction: NFHS for USA
Awards: In varsity races, pewter cups will be awarded to the top 10 finishers;
medals will be awarded to the next 15 finishers. In freshman and junior varsity
races, medals will be awarded to the top 25 finishers. In all races, plaques will be
awarded to the top 3 teams.

8:00 a.m. Coaches' Meeting
9:00 a.m. Open 5k (For runners not entered in other races, Boys and Girls together)
9:30 a.m. Freshman Boys
10:00 a.m. Freshman Girls
 10:30 a.m. Seeded Varsity Boys
11:00 a.m. Seeded Varsity Girls
11:30 a.m. Unseeded Varsity Boys
12:00 p.m. Unseeded Varsity Girls
12:30 p.m. JV Boys
1:00 p.m. JV Girls
Please Note:
1) Teams are limited to 7 runners in each varsity race, and to 10 runners in JV and
freshman race. Teams with fewer than 5 finishers will be withdrawn from team
scoring. Teams with more than 7 (or 10) finishers will have all runners disqualified.
2) You may only enter one team for each of the races: varsity boys/girls, junior
varsity boys/girls and freshman boys/girls.
3) You may not enter a team in a junior varsity race unless you have entered a team 
in the corresponding varsity race.

4) Please indicate your decision to run seeded/unseeded on your email to me.

5) Only one race for JV boys.
Entry Fee: $175 per single-sex team; $275 per coed team. You may enter a full
complement of races (Varsity, JV, and Freshman races) for this single entry fee.
Checks should be made out to “Woodward Relays” add a note for “Classic” and
mailed to:

Parking: After discharging athletes, team buses will be directed to off campus
parking.
Deadline: All entry materials must be received by Midnight. on Fri, Sept. 17th, 2021.
To Enter: 1) Your check must precede the meet. Please request your check early.
We don’t want to collect money at the meet.
2) Rosters must be completed on www.athletics.net in order to be entered.
2) Email gregdunston@yahoo.com after you have completed your entry to confirm.
List the races that you have chosen and your school’s name. I’ll let you know if your
check has been received at that time.
