Tides of Grace 5K

Tides of Grace is a frontline result driven and goal oriented non-profit organization on the Eastern Shore of Maryland that was established with the mission to support the community through kindness and compassion by providing a helping hand to those in need of resources and services. We are committed to accelerating the development of a better and brighter tomorrow by alleviating the negative outcomes that are endured by those in need of assistance through robust partnership and collaboration. Each month we strive to be a helping hand in the community through kindness and compassion by offering a monthly collection and drive for items and services the community needs. Each month is a different collection and average 300- 500 people in the community we help each month. Each month the community comes out to receive these items.  We have offered Senior Sunshine to our senior living apartments  Easter baskets for children, prom dresses to our seniors  in high school and summer clothes, community baby shower for new moms haircuts, family photos, winter clothes, school supplies and toy drives. Our events are free to the community and helps offer support and help with whatever chapter they are in during this season of life. We exist to provide an inclusive and enabling environment in different communities and pride our services on meeting the needs of individuals and families we serve. We are having the 5K race to help us fund future events and expand our space we have for monthly collections. Our goal for fundraising this year is to raise money to maintain and expanded  the use of our recently acquired space in Centerville. The 5K race last year helped us to our goal to move into this space !!!  The Community Resource center located at 207 N Liberty St will continue to allow us to meet the  ever growing needs of the community.
