Description
To walk a mile in someone else's shoes means to take a step toward understanding their individual experiences.
Rape Crisis Intervention Service of Carroll County (RCIS) invites you to walk in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence during our 14th Annual Walk a Mile in Their Shoes event.
Sexual violence can be a difficult topic to talk about, but it impacts individuals of all ages and genders in Carroll County and beyond. You have the opportunity to show your support to survivors in our community by taking part in the conversation about advocacy and prevention. We encourage men to put on a pair of women's shoes and walk alongside family, friends, survivors, and community members alike. It's time to make a difference in our county!
