COVID-19 Update: We have been closely watching the current health crisis surrounding COVID-19 and taking all CDC recommendations into consideration. Because of these recommendations, we have decided to switch this year’s Wesley Fun Run/Walk to a Hybrid: In-person and virtual event.

Hosting a virtual race: will allow those who feel they need to continue supporting our community while still observing safe and respectful social and physical distancing practices.

What is a Virtual Race? A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You get to run, jog, or walk your own route, at your own pace, and time it yourself. You are no longer restricted to our race course, but you may choose to run on the road, on a trail, or on a treadmill. Participants will complete the run/walk at a time and place convenient for them. Participants may either run on Saturday, June 4th, at 8:00 AM, or at any time of the day or night over the next week, ended Friday, June 11th by 5:00 PM to complete the race. T-shirts available for the first 100 who participate.

All events and distances are still scheduled: 5K, and 1 mile.

You'll post your race pictures (and running time from your device if you want) on our Facebook page. Special bragging rights for some new fun categories by popular vote (Best Mask and more!). We'd love to see your colorful running gear, SUPER HERO SPIRIT!, your neighbors and friends cheering you on ... Can't wait to see your creativity!
