Join us on Saturday, February 15, 2020 for a race event unlike any other in Maine! Get out of the cold and head indoors, where there is no ice underfoot, no frigid gusts in your face, and no snow overhead. Who knew running in circles was so much fun? Music, comaraderie, and running! Walkers welcome.
Indoor Insanity 5K is a fundraiser to prevent lung cancer through installation of radon mitigation systems in low-income Maine households.
Because of the date changes, we are unable to have the full after-race party at Sebago Brewing. But all is not lost! We can all still unwind post-race with other Indoor Insanity participants at the new Sebago location at 616 Main Street in Gorham. Bring your race bib to get 5k beers (Sebago pints for $3.10), free sodas for under 21 and nondrinkers only, and 10% off your food order.
To minimize injury and "traffic jams", runners can pick their preferred heat based on their average personal running speed.
Heat # 1 - for the fastest runners (15-20 minutes 5k) Field will be limited to 30 runners. First come, first served sign ups
Heat #2 - for the intermediate runners (20-27 minute 5k) Field will be limited to 75 runners. First come, first served sign ups
Heat #3 - for runners of any level willing to take on the chaos of Indoor Insanity.
Walkers are welcome (we will have dedicated lanes for walkers). Walkers start with Heat #2 Runners
Kids Fun Run, too!
The race will be professionally chip-timed for accurate individual lap and finish times.
The first 150 runners who register by Midnight on Wednesday, December 21, 2019 will get the long-sleeve, race t-shirt. Top Fundraiser and top male/female race winner prizes TBA.

100% of the Indoor Insanity registration fees and participant fundraising/donations will be used to fix radon problems in low-income households in Maine.
You can help prevent lung cancer.
