This Color Dash 5k benefits: PRAIRIEVIEW ELEMENTARY.

Students spend a majority of their life IN school. Well planned and effective, physical education enhances students’ health and promotes an active lifestyle. Here at Prairieview, staff members embrace the research that supports the connection between physical activity and academic achievement. Whether in Physical Education class, in the regular classroom, or even on the playground before, during and after school, we support children and lay the foundation for health and wellness. Hosting this Color Dash also helps us promotes a healthier neighborhood and community. The money earned from this fundraiser will further support our efforts to build students’ self-esteem, promote healthy hearts, and strengthen their bones. We are hoping to purchase resources and equipment that can be used by all students, as well as community members.
