Stay Safe on the Route
Safety Tips and Rules
- Glow up your running gear! Headlamps, reflective gear, glow bracelets and necklaces, and flashlights are all great ways to make sure you are safe and seen on the route.
- No motorized vehicles
- No bikes, scooters, or skateboards
- Wagons and strollers are welcome
- No pets (dogs, cats, parakeets, lizards, etc.) They will miss you while you are gone, but they will be super excited to hear all about it when you get home.
- Good vibes only! Cheer on one another as you pass. Thank our security volunteers who keep the roadways safe for the runners and walkers.
- If you see something, say something! If something doesn't seem right, let a security person (pink reflective vests) know.
- Sign and wear your race bib. Pin it to your outermost garment so it is visible.
- Watch the roadway. Stay on the right side of the road between the lines.
