Sarett Spring Stampede Race Information

The Spring Stampede will offer an in-person "LIVE" race option for 2024

The funds raised from this event will help Sarett Nature Center continue to provide environmental education programs for over 25,000 school children each year.

At 8:30 am, the kids’ 1-mile fun run will start.  $1 is the entry fee for the fun run and all participants will receive a finisher’s ribbon.  You can drop off your entry form at Sarett or mail it to:  Mike Mahler at Sarett Nature Center, 2300 Benton Center Rd., Benton Harbor, MI 49022.  You can also register on-line at https://runsignup.com/sarettspringstampede  .  

Race packets and t-shirts can be picked up at the nature center on Thursday and Friday, April 4th & 5th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and on race morning starting at 8:00 am.  Members of Sarett Nature Center and the SWMI RACERS receive a $3 discount.  The Spring Stampede is a part of the SWMI RACERS Community Race Series.

About This Event
This unique 5K run and walk will take advantage of Sarett's nature trails. The funds raised from this event will help Sarett Nature Center continue to provide environmental education programs for over 25,000 school children each year.

Event Schedule

• Early Packet Pickup on Thursday and Friday, April 4th & 5th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Nature Center)
• Race Day Packet Pickup (Saturday April 6th): 8:00 am
• Kids 1 mile fun run (Saturday April 6th): 8:30 am
• 5K Run and Walk (Saturday April 6th): 9:00 am 

Entry Fees

• Early registration fees - $20.00 until March 16th (11:59 pm)
• Registration fees - $25.00 from March 17th until April 4th (11:59 pm)
• Late Registration fees - $30 on April 5th and April 6th.
• Same Day Registration will be available for 2023 - Participants must use Cell Phones to register on the Race Site.
• **Tee Shirts cannot be guaranteed after March 22nd or on Race Day**

T-Shirts

• T-Shirts are guaranteed for pre-registration participants before March 22nd.  T-Shirt availability after March 22nd will be on a "first come, first serve basis".   Please register early!!

Kids 1 Mile Fun Run

• Kids 1 mile fun run entry fee is $1 and all participants will receive a finisher’s ribbon.
