Capital Area Community Services 33rd Annual Lansing/East Lansing Walk for Warmth

Please join us in assisting our friends and neighbors on Saturday May 13th for our annual Walk for Warmth Run/Walk. 

Living without heat is a dangerous reality for several of our neighbors, one that many people in our community are forced to experience due to dramatic increases in utilities and living costs. As we continue to have minimal home heating assistance funding available, it is essential to raise local funds to help area families. Your contribution directly assists individuals and families in the Lansing/East Lansing area. 100% of funds raised from the Walk for Warmth goes toward aiding those facing utility related emergencies.

 Walk for Warmth 2023 Event

The 2023 Walk for warmth will be held in person starting at the Capital Area Community Services building on Rensen Street in Lansing. We will make our way through Hawk Island Park and back during our run/walk. This race will not be timed. Goodie Bags will be available for every paid registration. You can register the day of the race in person.  This year’s event schedule is as follows:

7:30AM-8:45AM Goodie Bag pickup/Registration 

9:00AM run/walk start

Goodie Bag pick up will be hosted at Capital Area Community Services (1301 Rensen St. Lansing, MI 48910) on:

·        Friday May 12, from 10:00AM to 4PM

·        Saturday May 13 (race day), from 7:30AM- 8:45AM 

*Please note that Goodie Bags will not be shipped and you must pick them up in person.
