Event Description
Join Us for the 2025 Run Drugs Out of Town!
We’re excited to announce that this year’s Run Drugs Out of Town will take place at Macomb Community College, Center Campus, on June 21, 2025. This event is more than just a 5K run or walk—it’s a powerful show of support for individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder.
Together, we can show people they are not alone, break the stigma surrounding substance use disorder, and build a more compassionate community. Gather your friends, family, and colleagues to form a team and join us in honoring and supporting those affected by addiction. Your participation makes a difference!
Registration Includes:
- Entry to the 5K run/walk
- 2025 Run Drugs Out of Town T-Shirt
- 2025 Finisher's Medal
- Commemorative race bib with chip timing
- Access to the after race picnic where there will be food, snacks, and drinks
Packet Pick-Up:
Stop by the FAN Office at 43800 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp., MI 48038 to pick up your packet Monday 6/16, Tuesday 6/17, or Wednesday 6/18 from 1 pm to 7 pm
OR
Swing by the registration tent on the day of the event starting at 8:00 am to get it before the run!
Teams
Each year, teams form to honor loved ones lost to addiction, celebrate those in recovery, and support those who are still fighting.
Here’s how to create or join a team:
- Create a Team: The first person to register will create the team and become the Team Captain. They’ll choose a team name during registration.
- Register as Team Captain: After creating the team, the captain completes their own registration.
- Invite Others to Join: Once the team is created, the captain can share the team name so friends, family, and co-workers can register under it.
Note: Each team member registers and pays individually—team captains do not need to sign everyone up.
Team Banners
Every year, FAN hangs your team banners at the event to honor those you love. If you have recieved a banner in the past and wish to have it hung, please contact marie@faceaddictionnow.org. If you have never recieved a banner or if this is your first year having a team, please reach out to marie@faceaddictionnow.org so that we can get one created for you.
Make it Count
Use your team to raise awareness and funds to help support the mission of FAN! During the ceremony, awards will be given to the largest team and the team that raised the most funds. Let's run for recovery - together!
