Thank you for showing interest in the 4th Annual Croswell Library: Parks & Paths 5K. This will be the second year running the new route beginning and ending at the Croswell Splash Pad.
This year's giveaway is a custom moisture-wicking headband and all participants will earn a custom medal featuring a variety of classic books.
Runners earn prizes for first, second, and third overall (male and female categories). Master and Grandmaster runners (male and female) can earn prizes for first place in their respective age groups. The fastest dogs (male and female (runners not dogs)) will also get a prize.
Course records were established last year in the inaugural running of the new course. The men's record is 19:30 and is held by Jonathon Ridley. The female record is 22:27 and is held by Daneille Fowler. Any male or female who sets a new record will receive a free entry into next year's race.
When signing up 2 or more people, each runner will receive a $5 discount.
All proceeds from this event will benefit Aitkin Memorial District Library.
You will go through downtown Croswell's Commercial District, across the Black River, around neighborhood streets, into the Swinging Bridge Park, back over the Black River and return to the Splash Pad. There's a Strava segment in there too for those who are interested in that kind of thing. There might even be a special prize for someone who can unseat the reigning KOM
