Description

A 5k in honor of our friend Derek Dexter who passed away suddenly in May of 2024. Derek loved running and promoting the sport of running. This 5k honors Derek in the best way we know how.

Derek Dexter Memorial fund providing scholarships and running shoes for local high school athletes.
The Derek Dexter Detroit Memorial 5k will be providing scholarships to local high school athletes who are pursuing engineering and have a love of running.
