Livingston County Community Mental Health invites you to participate in the All Minds Matter 5k Walk/Run. We are running to raise awareness for mental health issues including the reduction of stigma and the promotion of positive support. Mental illness affects 1 in 4 people every year, meaning that nearly every family in our community is affected. With positive support, people can live a rewarding life in the community just like anyone else.

Course - The race will start in downtown Fowlerville and will progress through the Community Park north of town. This 5k loop is a road race in a quiet and idyllic setting.

Awards - The overall male and female runners will each receive a $50 gift certificate from Running Lab in Brighton.  (Thank you Running Lab!)  Medals for top top male and female for each age division. Age divisions:  19-under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-over.

Entry fee includes - chip timing, T-shirt, and a light meal afterwards at Genesis. Register by April 6th to be guaranteed a t-shirt. Shirts available after the 6th as supplies last.

If you would like to sponsor/pay for a member to participate in the run/walk please choose the Sponsor A Member event.  When registering please register Genesis as the first name and Member as the last name . The price is $25. 

Packet pick up Friday, May 3rd from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm at the Clubhouse.

Race day packet pick up and registration starting at 8:30 am.

The race will be chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and on the web at

The challenge encourages Michiganders to engage with events that promote physical activity, health and wellness. 5K Weather Policy

Weather Cancellation Policy 

The safety of our participants is the most important thing and if any of the threatening weather conditions listed below are present the day of the event, the event may be delayed or canceled.

Threatening Weather Conditions

The race may be canceled or delayed if any of the following weather conditions exist: Tornado warning, tornado watch, thunderstorm, "heavy" Rain, lightning, high winds or other major weather conditions.

Delay or Cancellation of the Event

The start of the event may be delayed up to one hour from the posted start time if any of the above mentioned conditions exist. The event may then be canceled if any threatening weather conditions persist.  

If threatening weather conditions force cancellation of the event, no refunds can be provided, since funds were already spent in preparation for race day. Rest assured that your registration fee is considered a valuable donation to LCCMHA/Genesis House and will go to support a variety of important programs and activities providing real help to people right here in Livingston County. 

In the event of cancellation, all participants will receive notification via email with information regarding how they can still receive their race packet, including T-shirt.

Broadcast of Cancellation

- If Event is canceled more than 24 hours prior to the start time: We will notify all participants by email.

- If Event is canceled less than 24 hours before start time: We will notify all participants by email.  We will also make very attempt to call participants who provided a phone number during the registration process.

- If Event is canceled during the actual event, on-site notification will be given over the PA system.
