The Jeff Jog: Celebrating 60 Years of Miles, Smiles, and Memories!

Join us for the Jeff Jog 1-Mile Fun Run a one-time only event to celebrate Jeff’s 60th birthday and his incredible journey as a runner, friend, and community leader! This race is a celebration of Jeff’s love for running and a chance to honor his passion before he shifts gears due to a foot injury that’s sidelining him from future runs.

Whether running, jogging, walking, or cheering, this fun run is about fun, laughter, and making lasting memories. It’s Jeff’s way of bringing everyone together for one special jog to celebrate the miles he’s run and the lives he’s touched.

Free to Participate: This event is completely free to join! In lieu of gifts for Jeff, we kindly ask that you consider making a donation to the Frankenmuth Jaycees Volksläufe Scholarship Fund. You can donate directly through the race registration site by clicking “Donate” above. Your generosity will support local student-athletes and honor Jeff’s lifelong commitment to running and giving back.

Packet Pick-Up and After Party
Packet pick-up and the after-party will both be held at the Frankenmuth Lions Haus, located in Heritage Park.

Route Information
The fun run/walk will start at the south end of the Riverwalk in Heritage Park, follow a scenic path, and conclude back at the Lions Haus, where the celebration will continue.

Don’t Forget Your Old Volksläufe Shirts!
We invite all participants to wear their old Volksläufe shirts to the after-party! If you don’t have one, don’t worry—Detroit Lions and Michigan shirts are also welcome! It’s a fun way to show your support for Jeff, the community, and his favorite teams as we gather to celebrate his 60th birthday and the impact he’s had on all of us!
