The following guidelines will be implemented for the safety of participants, volunteers and event staff:
The Spectrum Health Danish Dash takes place during the Danish Festival in Greenville.
Danish Dash Map: The USA Track & Field certified 5K course begins and ends on Faber Street near Baldwin Heights Elementary School, travels through Tower Park, past historic Manoka Lake, around Baldwin Lake, past scenic views of Taylor Hops, and concludes with a gradual hill up Marvel Drive.
Race shirt pick-ups will be available, Friday, August 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Spectrum Health United Lifestyles Building at 701 S Greenville W Dr. Suite #1 (near B.C. Pizza and True Value)
If you registered after July 25, a race shirt is not guaranteed. Extra shirts will be available, but sizes will be limited.
The Half Mile Fun Run for Kids has been canceled. However, children are welcome to participate with registered adults in the 5K Run/Walk. Strollers are welcome.
Danish Dash Kids shirts are available for purchase during registration as well as on the race website store here.
Bring fun to your run by dressing in your best red and white accessories. Prizes will be awarded to the best 'Dress Like a Dane' participants. Photos will be taken at check-in prior to race start for judging and awards will be mailed out after the event.
What is a Virtual Race?
A virtual event is an opportunity for you to celebrate your training and the Danish Festival on your individual schedule while avoiding large crowds. Participants may choose a convenient time during day-light hours from Friday, August 20 through Sunday, August 22 to run/walk anywhere in the world.

Will I get a shirt?
Yes, if you register before Friday, July 25 you will be guaranteed a shirt. If you register after July 25, extra shirts will be available on a first-come first serve basis.
Kids shirts are also available for purchase during registration and in the race store.
Shirt pick-up will be Friday, August 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Spectrum Health United Lifestyles building located at 701 S Greenville W Dr. Suite #1 (near B.C. Pizza and True Value). Shirts not picked up will be mailed out the week after the race.
Do I need to submit my time?
No. A virtual race encourages you to run at your own pace by running, jogging or walking. You must complete your virtual run or walk by sundown on Sunday, August 22.
Due to the cancelation of the Yellow Jacket Challenge this year, the Ionia Montcalm Running Race Series has been canceled this year.
