Description
The Laker Trailblazer 5K Race is a cross country style race on the trails of Harrison Campus of Mid Michigan College. It's set in a beautiful forest with massive trees and rolling hills. This trail is a shady course with a lot of turns and twist and short hills. The campus is in a wooded area of Mid Michigan College's Harrison Campus which sits on 560 acres of beautiful, wooded land. This trail system is open to the public all year long for walking, running, biking, disc golf, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing.
The race will be on the same course that is used by the Clare HS XC team and is a wide mostly flat shady course.
We will have age group awards:
- 14 & under
- 15 - 18
- 19 - 30
- 31 - 40
- 41 - 50
- 50 - above
Proceeds benefit the supplies, equipment and scholarships of Mid’s Cross Country team.
