Dennis Hockenberry Memorial 5K - Another Day, Another Gift

Dennis Hockenberry was a pillar of the Ionia County Community and an ever present runner of the area roads and trails.  He held many volunteer leadership positions within area school boards, youth coaching, and church committees.  Dennis committed many hours to supporting his friends, family, and community with a passion to serve others and improve the place we call home.  Please join us for the inaugural Dennis Hockenberry Memorial 5k to celebrate a life well lived and uphold his trademark saying: "Another Day, Another Gift."

Run packet pick up and starting will be at Steele Street Brewing, with the course consisting of the Fred Meijer Grand River Valley Trail.  The run will end back at the brewery where your registration and efforts will earn you a draft or soda of your choice--a perfect opportunity to toast to Dennis and catch up with friends, family, and running buddies!  An inaugural Dennis Hockenberry Memorial 5k T-shirt will be included in the registration fee as well.  All proceeds will be donated to area Cross Country and Track teams to assist with athlete needs and expenses.
