Ark In The Dark Firefly 5K

Join Catholic Charities and The Ark Services for Youth at this fun-filled “glow in the dark” event on August 20, 2016.  All proceeds will benefit the more than 300 homeless and precariously housed youth served by The Ark Services for Youth each year -- it's a great cause and a great reason to have fun!

Come dressed in your best costume to light up the night and run, walk, skip, or crawl the 5K course on and around Hackett Catholic Prep’s Campus.

There will be prizes for the best costume (dress in all the glow gear you can find!)
Enjoy delicious snacks after the 5K (lots of campfire goodies!)
Visit the “Youth Booths” to learn about local happenings and services for youth
Stay after for the dance and party celebrating our amazing youth!
There's not another race in Kalamazoo like this one.  So get your “glow” on and light up the night like a firefly!

Online registration is active and can be completed until August 18th.  You must register by August 13th to receive a T-shirt.  In person registration will be available on-site during packet pick-up times.  Each registration includes an event T-shirt and a special "glow item" to help you kick off the festivities.  Feel free to come decorated for the occasion, the more glow wear, the better!

Packet Pick-Up will be available at Hackett Catholic Prep (use the lower, west parking lot) on Friday, August 19th from 5:30-7:30 PM and Saturday, August 20th from 6:30-7:30 PM.  The 5K will begin promptly at 8:00 PM.
