Come join us on the Lansing River Trail, Saturday, October 21st for Cristo Rey's 11th Annual Run For Giving 5K Run/Walk. The race will start at 9:00 am. Our race will have chipped timing with live results!

Early bird pricing starts at $25 and will last until September 15th, pricing will be $30 from September 16th to October 13th, and $35 one week before the event. Register early to secure the early bird pricing! Be sure to register online, there is no race day registration.

Special pricing: Ages 18 and under $5 discount. Families/Groups who register 3 or more participants at the same time receive a $5/discount per participant. 

Run, walk or roll! This race is stroller and wheelchair accessible. 

Proceeds from this event will go towards empowering those in vulnerable situations in our community through our Food Access Programs, Personal Needs Program, Family Health Center and Counseling Center. 

Packet Pickup:  Pickup at Cristo Rey Community Center on October 20th from 3-6 PM and race day morning starting at 8am.

T-shirts: T-shirts are guaranteed until October 13th and then available as supplies last after that date. They will be distributed at packet pick-up the day before the race. If you're not able to pick up the packet the day before, you can pick it up the day of the race from 8-9 AM near the start/finish line at the registration table. 

Participants wearing your race t-shirt will receive free admission to Potter Park Zoo! Free admission is only on the day of the race. 

Results: Your accurate chip time and current overall and age group place will be live on this site and available race day.

Awards: Medals will be awarded to the overall male and female and the 1st place winner in each age group (men and women). Overall male and female will receive an additional prize. Age Groups: 14 and under, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.

Fluid Stations: We will provide bottled water at tables along the trail and at the finish of the race. 

Parking: Free parking is available in the lot next to Potter Park Zoo. 

Course: Accurate 3.1 miles along the scenic Lansing River Trail. Link to course map

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. 

Athletico Physical Therapy will have physical therapists and athletic trainers on-site to lead pre and post-race stretches, as well as assessing injuries and educating runners on injury prevention.

Donate and Receive a FREE Entry!

If you would like to support our cause and get a free entry to the race donate $50. When you register for the race your entry will be free! (Valid until 9/14 and then with a $50 donation the discount off the race entry fee is $25).  Donate $25 and you'll receive a $10 discount off your 5k race entry fee.

2. You will be routed to the Donation page during registration, choose the $50 donation level

3. Your discount (free entry) will be reflected in the cart during checkout.
