Lace up your running shoes for mid-Michigan's favorite one mile fun run for kids and the whole family!
Join us on Saturday, June 7 at Jackson Field in Lansing for the 2025 Playmakers Michigan Mile. All races start and finish right on the in-field!
Waves for the Michigan Mile and Kids' Sprint are organized by age, with ages 6 and under eligible for the shorter Kids' Sprint distance. All participants will receive an awesome race t-shirt and finisher medal!

In addition to the kids races, the 'grown ups' can join in with our Open Mile wave!

Charity Partner
The Michigan Running Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our mission is simple, we want to support youth running across the state of Michigan.
One of our main programs is the Mighty Mile, a FREE race for kids ages 5-14. The kids all receive a chipped time accurate mile, t-shirt, finishers medal, and certificate. In 2025 we will be putting on Mighty Miles in 5-7 locations across the state. The Mighty Miles are typically held in late May or early June, we are encouraging kids to start their summer off by running, staying fit, and active.
In 2024 over 1,000 kids participated in a Mighty Mile race. It is entirely free to participate. 100% of your donation supports this program. Thank you for your support.
