Join us for our 4th annual 5k Run or 5k Walk on Saturday, September 7th on Downtown Owosso's River Trail to support the Shiawasse County Chapter of Families Against Narcotics (FAN).  FAN supports recovery from drugs and alcohol and provides education for parents and students in Shiawassee County to avoid addictions and human trafficking. FAN supports the ANGEL Program with the Michigan State Police Post, HOPE NOT HANDCUFFS, the Owosso Police Department, Prevention Network with the 'Hidden in Plain Sight Trailer', DEFY (Drug Education for Youth) Program and 'Human Trafficking Program' with the Shiawassee County Sheriff's Department.  

Pricing Pre-Registration $25 until 8/28 includes a t-shirt.  Late Registration 8/29 to 9/07 $30 without t-shirt. Be sure to preregister for the race! 

FAN invites kids under 18 years to PRE-REGISTER and run for FREE - THIS INCLUDES FREE REGISTRATION, FREE TEE, MEDAL, WATER AND A BAR.  Simply register for the race and kids ages 18 and under are automatically charged a $0 entry fee.

Winner Awards - Gold, Silver, and Bronze large medals will be given to the top 3 places in the following age groups:  Male and Female: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.  

Race Swag All PRE-REGISTRANTS will receive a tee shirt, water and a bar.  Shirts are available in Youth Small through Adult XXLarge with registration by 8/28.

Volunteer opportunities are available and needed!  Please go to the Volunteer tab and sign up.  This includes a free tee, and a voucher for an on-sight coffee.

Packet pickup will begin at 8:00 AM on race day morning. 

Join FAN in Owosso on 9/7 at 9am for a Patriotic Run helping to address issues of drug and alcohol addiction that so many of our loved ones are faced with.  Z92.5 The Castle will be broadcasting at the Start and throughout the race.  The Saturday Farmer's Market will be in full swing selling fall harvests and sweet treats just a few blocks away.  ArtWalk will also be happening in downtown Owosso on 9/7 beginning at 11am. We will also acknowledge our first responders with a brief ' 9/11 We Remember ‘ program for our fallen hero’s.

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be live during the race and on this website.

Donate and Run for FREE!

Donate $50 or more and receive a free race entry!

Steps how to receive a free entry:

1. Choose Sign Up and follow the steps to register for the race

2. You will be routed to the Donation page during registration, choose the donation level or enter a custom donation amount. Any donation over $50 will receive a free race entry. 

3. Your discounted (free entry) will be reflected in the cart during checkout.

* Please note if you go to the donation page first and enter the donation the discount will not be applied for a free entry. You must register by choosing Sign Up first. FREE entry is valid until the price increase on 8/28, then it's a $25 discount off your entry fee.
