Description

We are excited to bring a new event to the Petoskey community: the first annual Dandelion Dash! The Dash will include a professionally timed 5K Trail Run and a short Family Fun Run at the Petoskey High School cross country grounds. This event is a fundraiser for Petoskey Children's Nature Preschool.

Family Fun Run

Start Time: 9:45am
Approximately 1/4 to 1/2 mile, over fields (surface may be uneven and is not paved)
Participant Sticker (to be worn during the race) and Finisher Ribbon
The Family Fun Run is intended to be an opportunity for the whole family to move together and raise money for the preschool
All participants (including children in trail-appropriate strollers) must register. Age discounts apply.

Registration: You must check in prior to the event. Packet pickup is Friday, May 16 from 3:30-5:00pm at Petoskey Children's Nature Preschool (1804 E Mitchell, Petoskey, MI 49770), or at the event beginning at 7:30am.

Parking: Petoskey Middle School parking lot

The Fine Print: Children under age 12 must be supervised. Adults accompanying children on the run must register as participants. Trail-appropriate strollers are allowed for the Family Fun Run only. Family Fun Run registration for children ages 3-17 will be discounted to $10, and children ages 0-2 are free (prices shown at check-out). While we love pets, please leave your dog at home.

Petoskey Children’s Nature Preschool has been providing high-quality, early childhood education to the children of Northwest Michigan for 62 years! We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) preschool providing children with an enriching, play-based, child-centered environment to explore the world and relationships around them.
