The Coast Guard is celebrating its birthday (August 4, 1790) with a 5K Run/Walk on August 4, 10am. This is a private event for the Coast Guard and their dependents.  There is no entry fee.  Online Registration will close July 13 at 11:59pm to ensure an accurate entry count for race giveaways.  The race will start and finish in Sherman Park near the green pavilion and new kayak lockers along the bike path.  A birthday celebration and cookout will follow at the Red Log Cabin. 

Bib Pickup will begin at 8:30am at the green pavilion near the start/finish area.  Each participant will receive a commemorative Hockey Puck.  The top 3 finishers for each gender will receive a special award at the conclusion of the race.  

Chip timing and live results will be provided by Yooper Running Company.  A results link will be posted on this page and on yooperrunning.com.
