Train To Trails

2023 Train to Trails has been canceled for this year.  While we had a grand vision to bring an awesome longer distance event to the running community, that vision was not shared by public safety officials.  Citing short staffing to provide the necessary support along the race route to provide for a safe event for all participants.

All 2023 registrants should have received a refund in July.

Eastside Racing Company

The Train To Trails Half Marathon, 2-person Half Marathon Relay and 5K Run/Walk is produced by Eastside Racing Company.  The point to point half marathon route will start in Oakland Township and run the rail trails of Oakland and Macomb counties before entering Stony Creek Metropark for the finish.  Runners of all abilities are welcome to join in the half marathon.  FOR THE HALF MARATHON AND RELAY ONLY:  OFFICIAL COURSE CLOSURE AT 18 MINUTE PER MILE PACE:  Half marathon runners and relay runners must be able to complete each mile in a 18-minute pace or less. If you expect to run slower than 18-minutes per mile, please register for the 5K.
