Oktoberfest South Haven

5.5k Run Race Description:
Come join us September 28th and celebrate Oktoberfest in beautiful South Haven, Michigan.  This 5.5K race will cover both the North and South beaches of South Haven.  388 people registered for our first race in 2023 and we are happy to welcome everyone back for this unique race.  We promise one of the most scenic race routes you have ever participated in.  The race will again include the historic Dyckman Bridge as part of the fun.  Although runners who contend for the win of their division will not be caught by the bridge, slower runners and walkers may be stopped as it raises up every 30 minutes to let boats in and out of the marina from Lake Michigan.  Those who do get stopped will get a special award!!!!!

This is a family fun event so bring the whole family to enjoy the fun.  We love dogs and other pets, but unfortunately we can't allow them to run in the race.  Baby strollers are welcome as long as participants start in the back of the race with them.

Everyone will get a custom race number for the event that you can save as a keepsake.

5.5k Run Registration Fees:
$39 Early Registration (now through September 13th ) **Early Registration Pricing ends at 11:59 pm**
$44 Late Registration (September 14th through September 27th) **Early Registration Pricing ends at 11:59 pm September 27th**
$49 Day Of Registration (September 28th) **Late Registration Begins 12:00 am and goes through Race Day 8:00 am Saturday**
Participants may register on Saturday using their computer or phone.  No Paper Registrations will be allowed
 
Registration Includes:
As part of your entry, you get one of our awesome Oktoberfest style T-shirts until we run out of them.  These shirts were a tremendous hit in 2023 and they are back again with a new variation for 2024.  When registering you will be asked for your desired size.  If that size is no longer available, that size option will no longer be visible.  Although we will order many extra shirts, once they are gone they are gone, so we encourage you to register earlier than later ensure that you are able to get one.  Each shirt is made of high tech water wicking materials that runners love for it's breath-ability.

In addition to the shirt, everyone who races will get a super awesome medal to mark your accomplishment.  Just like our shirts, this medal will be of high quality metal materials with a high quality ribbon to match.

Everyone who registers will also get an after race beverage of your choice; craft beer or non alcoholic craft root beer provided by Harbor Light Brewery.  (Must show ID to get craft beer)

Everyone will get a custom race number for the event that you can save as a keepsake.

Top Overall Male and Female
Top Masters Male and Female (40 and Over)
Top 3 in each age division - 12 and Under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and Over

Timing and Scoring:
Provided by MAC's Sports Timing - Results will be LIVE during the event at RunSignUp and posted during the race.  Final results can be found online at www.macssportstiming.com
