Happy Soles 5k Run/Walk/Bike & Virtual Challenge

Happy Soles participants helped Fish and Loaves Community Food Pantry purchase enough food to distribute over 2.2 million pounds of food to 21,634 households. For all of those that laced up their sneakers or rode their bikes in 2022, we can’t thank you enough for your support of the Fish and Loaves mission. But we need your help again this year!

The Challenges

1.  Happy Soles will be held at Taylor Heritage Park Sheridan Pavilion.   The route will take the racers through the beautiful Heritage Park.    Our Racers can run, walk or bike the route.    If you are uncomfortable joining us for the event, please feel free to once again participate virtually.   We appreciate your support.  

2. We need a Tagline for Happy Soles 2025.   Please submit your tagline (Up to 5 words) to happysoles5k@flcfp.org by May 1, 2025.    Tagline winner will be awarded an entry to the 2025 Happy Soles 5k.  

3.     The final piece of the challenge comes in the form of fundraising! Registration for Happy Soles is $35 per person but this year, due to increased demand for food resources, we’re encouraging you to fundraise as you strive to hit your mileage goal. Within your dashboard, you can create a fundraising page to track your efforts and share them with friends and family using your own social and email channels. Help motivate them to join you in the miles or in fundraising for your goal!

100% of ALL proceeds will help Fish & Loaves purchase food for households in 2024. 

The first 300 participants will receive a Happy Soles Medal.

REGISTER BY MAY 11TH TO GUARANTEE A T SHIRT 

*Event t-shirts run big, so plan accordingly when you register. 

T-shirts and Medals will be handed out on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the race.
