The 11th Annual Up North Media Traverse City Turkey Trot has been a family favorite for the past eleven years. We start Thanksgiving day off right with two different race distances; a 5K and a 5 mile, to promote healthy lifestyles as well as give back to local charities. All runners receive a commemorative long-sleeved Turkey Trot t-shirt as well as a cooler lunch bag loaded with bottled water, coupons and SWAG worth well more than the price of entry! Invite the whole family to participate in this one-of-a-kind event starting at St. Francis High School in Traverse City, MI. 

The Up North Media Traverse City Turkey Trot has contributed more than $100,000 to many great local area causes over the past 11 years. This year's race will benefit TART Trails Boardman Lake Loop Project and local youth teams/organizations. Come join us to continue your family tradition or start a new one while supporting your community!

Children under the age of 3 in a stroller are free (but will not receive a t-shirt or goody bag). Dogs are also free! 

Packet Pickup

Our traditional packet pick up will be held inside the gymnasium at St. Francis High School on Wednesday, November 21 from 4:00-7:00 pm.
Participants may also pick up their packets on race day from 7:00-8:30 AM.
Friends and family members CAN pickup your packet. 
On site registration will take place at these times as well.
T-shirts are not guaranteed if registering after Monday, November 19th. 

**Please note - As of 11/21/18 we are out of t-shirts! If you register online or in person on or after 11/21, your registration will not include a shirt. We have lowered registration cost to $35 for adults & $20 for students to accommodate for this. Thank you!
