Family Mile Fun Run/Walk

This event is FREE and will take place around the town center.  As a Fun Run/Walk, it is not timed and we encourage family participation - including young children and strollers!  Everyone that preregisters will receive a commemorative Union City Sesquicentennial Free Fest medal.

Sesquicentennial Free Fest 5K

This event will be chiped-timed and take place on a well marked route around town.  Participants that pre-registered will be guaranteed an event t-shirt and a commemorative Union City Sesquicentennial Free Fest medal.  (Tshirts and commemorative medals will only be available to onsite registrants while they last.) Please note: Registrations made after June 27 are guaranteed a shirt, but size cannot be guaranteed as the shirts are already in production.

1st and 2nd place medals will be awarded in the following eight age categories: 10 & under, 11-15, 16-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61 & above

These events are part of the Union City's Historical Society Sesquicentennial Free Fest Celebration taking place July 1-3, 2016.  More information about the celebration weekend - including a list of all included events - can be found on the UC Sesquicentennial Free Fest FaceBook page. Nearly all activities are free or by donation thanks to a multitude of generous sponsors. There is an opportunity to make donations to help fund the 5K and Mile Fun Run/Walk. Donations made here will specifically fund the Free Fest 5K and Mile Fun Run/Walk events.  If any monies are raised beyond the needs for these events, they will be used for other Sesquicentennial Celebration events.  Your donation will go to the 501C non-profit organization The Society for Historic Preservation of Union City, which will distribute them to the Union City Sesquicentennial Committee.
