Description
We're excited to host the inaugural Highland Loops Trail Run on the mountain bike trails of Highland Recreation Area. Come experience a challenging trail race, or use this as a training test for your summer marathon or ultra.
The trails consist of four loops, A-B-C-D, and total sixteen miles. This is 100% single track. The terrain is hilly and technical. The entire course runs through heavily wooded Southeast Michigan forest. You can opt for the 16 mile or 7 mile event.
This is a non-profit event and proceeds raised will be donated to THV, Inc. (in support of Special Olympics) and The Motor City Mountain Biking Association. Both are 501c3 organizations.
