COVID-19 Important Notes
We understand that you may be concerned with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and you may have questions about how that impacts our race:
"What efforts are you making to mitigate risk?"
- We are capping the total race capacity at 100 participants.
- We are providing a more spread-out start line (participants are encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines).
- We are encouraging non-vaccinated participants to wear face coverings at the start and finish of the race. You may take the face covering off during the race once you've created separation from the group and if you find yourself in distress - but we encourage you to wear it as long as you can. NOTE: Vaccinated participants are not required to wear a face covering.
- We will be providing a limited quantity of free, disposable face masks for racers/spectators (first-come-first-served). You are welcomed to bring your own face covering, however, please make sure it is functional and appropriate.
- We are providing hand sanitizer at all stations.
- Non-vaccinated spectators are encouraged to wear a face covering (exceptions will be made for those with medical conditions).
- All volunteers will be wearing masks/face coverings.
"What happens if the race gets cancelled?"
- The race will be cancelled if the state restrictions listed in the most recent executive order are revised to prevent us from having such a gathering.
- In the event of a cancellation, those who have registered and paid will be issued a registration refund. Please note that runsignup.com may retain any processing fees on registration or refunds. We cannot cover their fees.
"I feel sick, but have not been diagnosed with COVID-19, am I still allowed to attend?"
- No. If you become sick, please stay home.
While at our race please practice good hand-hygiene and follow suggested social-distancing techniques.
